I had been in once before and the service and food was lovely. This time it took 40 minutes for an English breakfast and pancakes to be served. I ordered a milkshake for £7 and it came watery and melted in a latte glass. Service was poor, food was cold and not worth the money spent. There are much better cafes on the beachfront.

Extremely disappointed with our experience here today. We came here for ice creams and drinks from the kiosk of the promenade cafe, ordering multiple times and spending upwards of £20, as it became colder we requested to move inside as we had a newborn needing breastfed and it was getting windy, and we were also hoping to have lunch. The manager refused to let us move inside as we 'had made the decision to sit outside' and we would be 'taking up a paying table inside', she also said that the price of the ice cream varies based on whether you are inside the cafe or at the kiosk and so couldn't

Lovely lunch with my sister here. Staff were friendly & welcoming. Got served quickly. We had macaroni cheese with chips, fish & chips. Both were hot & fresh. The fish was so fresh & meaty. The batter was light & crispy. Chips were hot & crispy. Washed down with a pot of tea & fresh orange juice. Nice little cafe with friendly staff & atmosphere. Will definitely be back soon.
