I came to the Toby carvery for a meal with my family I was served by Elena who's service was great. She had a smile on her face on was very welcoming. She has great manners and her personality is amazing. I would definitely recommend her as a server. I was also server by Michelle at the bar who greeted me with her shining personality and smile. Would deffo recommend these two lovely ladies.

Avoid this place—shocking staff behavior ​Visited here alone and had an incredibly frustrating experience. Because I was on my own, I had to carry my puppy in my arms while getting my food as there was no one else to hold her. Instead of being understanding or offering a hand, the manager was incredibly rude to me about it. ​To make matters worse, the wait to actually get served was ridiculous. I was left standing there waiting for ages while the chef, who was supposed to be serving, was stood at the bar stuffing her face instead of doing her job. Just had a Sunday carvery and it was the best I've ever had! From the thoughtfulness of table positioning (I'm currently on a crutch) to the speed and quality of service, to the quality of the food it was a 5 star experience all through. Really thoughtful gesture when the member of staff waited for me so she could take my food to the table. I think her name was Kearna. Lovely afternoon so thank you all.
