Really cute place! The servers were lovely and food was really nice. My bf got the huevos rancheros and absolutely loved them! I got the green breakfast. Unfortunately I really didn’t like the hash browns. The seasoning was strange and it almost tasted like vermicelli noodles? I also thought there could be more vegan options 🌱. But I would definitely return for the cute vibes and lovely food and drink 🩷

My wife and I stopped in Highgate to see the cemetery today, and it was unfortunately closed so we decided to stop by Archie's for a drink. A short walk from Waterlow Park, it offers comfortable outdoor seating and a variety of brunch foods and cocktails. My wife got a mimosa while I enjoyed an aperol spritz, both served with juicy fresh orange. We also ordered an iced chai latte and hashbrowns. The chai latte was sweet, creamy, and refreshing, and the hashbrowns were unlike any I've had before. They were crispy on the outside, and seasoned with a soft and stringy inside. I’ve been to Archie’s three times. The croissants are pretty good (chocolate, almond, etc.). The matcha avocado chocolate cake is dry and tastes only of sugar. I do not recommend the mocha; the chocolate that they use does not mix well with their coffee and the coffee was weak. The vanilla latte with oat milk was much better! It was sweet, light, and delicious.

I have tried Archie’s twice. Both times the woman with the blonde ponytail, who operates predominantly in the dining area - I assume she is the manager - has ruined my experience. Don’t get me wrong, the food is brilliant, the girls on the coffee stand are lovely, and the guy in the dining area is also lovely. The chefs clearly know what they’re doing and once you get to order the food comes very quickly. This woman, who I assume Is the manager is hopeless. She swans up and down the restaurant, occasionally tinkering with the cutlery and swapping a chair with another one for no reason. She t
