The chain store occupies a building in a location that is well served by public transport. The premise was formerly a traditional, long-running local pub called The Lion, which appears to date back to the mid-19th century. On a Sunday late afternoon, it was frankly not easy to find a cafe nearby, so we dropped into this repurposed former pub as a refuge from the hot weather and the crowds outside. Great, fast coffee and importantly authentic and kind customer service! Makes the difference when there are more than five coffee shops nearby. I walk past even more as each of the team, including members, PC and Diana, aswell all other team members are super cool and good vibes. Thank you all 👊☕☕☕✨

I’m absolutely disgusted by the service I received today at 12:30. The staff refused to apply both my student discount and the Tuesday £2.50 offer, with no proper explanation. As a struggling student, this is incredibly frustrating and honestly appalling. How can staff just make up their own rules? If one Starbucks honours these offers, why is another branch refusing them? There seems to be zero consistency, which is completely unacceptable. This experience felt dismissive and unfair. It’s disappointing to see such poor standards and lack of clarity from a brand that should know better. Sham

Was looking forward to trying the brown sugar cloud frapp after falling in love with the strawberry matcha cloud. Colleague working seemed unsure and I watched him pour some white liquid, not foam on the drink. Missed out on the foam cloud this time. Wont go there again.
