We stopped here by chance looking for something to eat and it was the best decision of the day. The staff are very welcoming and made sure we feel at right home. The food was exceptional! My parents couldn't finish all their food. You get decent portions and good quality. The place was so cosy and warm, I didn't want to leave. We didn't have a booking and they weren't busy yet on the Sunday lunchtime. It's safer to book a table before you go, but we didn't plan on stopping here. To think we would've gone to a local generic takeaway...the horror! I'd definitely go here again.

We are regulars at this pub, just a few minutes down the road. Love the coziness of the place and the good food too. We enjoy coming for the Sunday roasts, and our experience is always great! Just a tip: booking is necessary. Come early for roasts to get fresh and decent portions. We found that out on Mother’s Day when most of the stuff was sold out. 😝 Also, their kids' roasts are fantastic at just £8 for a decent meal! Services are excellent too! Very friendly and helpful. Nice old coach inn pub near my parents food was very nice plus 2 beers on cask . Only moan waiter who took order was a little too quick and didn’t listen very well but the woman who brought the food was brilliant

We had a really lovely afternoon tea here last Sunday. There was no skimping on the sandwich filling either. We felt very satisfied unlike other afternoon teas we've had elsewhere. Will definitely come back again
