Food was ok - not great but not horrible. The ‘Slow cooked beef’ was super dry and hard so I didn’t end up having more than a bite. I asked for extra gravy but even that couldnt save it. The chicken burger was dry and not crispy at all, same with the crab burger. The Venison shank was probably the nicest dish out of the 4 we ordered. Service was slow but not too bad. Probably as it was busier with people dining with the 50% off offer in January. The dining area itself was nice though I wouldnt come back for the food. Would return for drinks though.

I booked a dinner slot in the bar, with a note that I’d have my dog with me. Cleverly, the team put us in a slightly more private booth which was great as our dog’s so sociable that it can be hard to enjoy a meal with her constantly getting up to greet people. The service was excellent and the team were so friendly. Thanks!

A fantastic pub and one of my favourite places in Clapham. The atmosphere is genuine, relaxed, and pleasantly calm, which makes it the perfect place to unwind. The food is excellent. Their Sunday roast is truly outstanding and easily one of the best I have had. Paired with a good pint, it is exactly what a proper Clapham Sunday should feel like. What I appreciate most is that the place feels authentic and unpretentious. Great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and consistently good service make it somewhere I always look forward to coming back to. Highly recommended.
