3rd May 2026, 1915 dinner service. We were a party of 6, of which a few had eaten there before. We were served by a wonderfully attentive, but unobtrusive AMEERA. She is an absolute credit to your organisation. Worked hard and effeciently to ensure we had the best dining experience. She took all our orders promptly, drinks, starter and mains.Mains were Castle burger, Chateaubriand, lamb, beef daub and roasted monkfish. I had a fantastic experience here. We went for the early bird which is very reasonably priced (considering it's Galgorm). I had the fish and chips which was absolutely delicious. I had a rhubarb trifle for dessert which was also delicious. You can tell that good ingredients are used in their food. The service was impeccable also from the moment we walked in. If you're staying in Galgorm, it's worth getting the shuttle bus down. That goes about every 15 minutes from the main door of the hotel.

We are regulars here for Sunday lunch. A good thick steak as usual but not slow cooked as previous. Previously had a choice of rare/medium or med/well done. Only med/well done available this time and not as tender. Could do with a wider serving of veg. Very basic peas, spring onions and baby broccoli. Had to wait for the veg to be served, that wait meant the main plate had cooled down. Needs to be piping hot and served together.
