What a great little restaurant. Both my partner and I were booked in for a birthday treat as we both love Italian food. We both had the Bruschetta to start which looks very simple and delicious to eat and was brimming with tomato, garlic and dashing of olive oil. I had the Tagliatelle con Carne which looked fantastic on the plate and was a great portion of pasta with bacon and breast of chicken pieces in a rich bolognese sauce. My partner had the Lasagne di Carne della casa (to give it's full name) and she said that's one of the best (apart from mine) she has had. We had a side of garlic bread

This was my second visit to Pizza Calzone in Banbury, and I’m glad to say the quality is just as good as the first time. The portions are very generous and the price is fair for what you get. We ordered three dishes – calzone mixed, pizza buffala salami and carbonara – and couldn’t finish everything, so we took some home. Everything was well seasoned and served hot. The pizza was crispy with amazing cheese. The buffala salami was recommended by a friendly and knowledgeable waiter, who explained the difference really well – and he was absolutely right. Service was also very quick – around 15
