This was my second visit and, unfortunately, a huge disappointment compared to my first. The poached eggs were completely overcooked and fell apart. If I hadn’t been told they were poached eggs, I wouldn’t have known. The soup of the day was also very strange, with ingredients that didn’t seem to go together, and I honestly had no idea what I was eating. Both dishes took nearly 30 minutes to arrive despite the restaurant not being very busy. The coffee was great, which is why I’m giving two stars. Everything else fell well below expectations.

Maybe my new favourite place to eat! The coffee (Flat white) was silky smooth with hints of coco. I was served by two lovely girls that made sure everything was okay and made me feel extremely welcome! Food was so good and I couldn’t eat it all, so left feeling very satisfied and ready for a busy day ahead. 10/10

My friend and I went along to a Burgers and Bingo night at Chai Cafe and had such a wonderful evening. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great but above all the staff were fantastic. In particular Cerys who took my allergy seriously and was super friendly thought Rachel and the lovely chap doing the bingo were fab. We had a wonderful evening. I would highly recommend it.

We visited Chai in Banstead today and stopped by for a takeaway coffee. We’ve had breakfast there a few times before, and it has always been excellent. The owner, Kat, is absolutely lovely and always makes us feel very welcome. I really like the design and atmosphere of the café — it’s stylish, cosy, and very relaxing. The coffee was excellent today, and the customer service is always friendly, attentive, and professional.
