We had an absolutely wonderful experience at The Hazelwell. The food was fab. What really made the visit stand out, though, was the staff. They were warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful from the moment we walked in. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and their friendly attitude added so much to the atmosphere. Overall, a fantastic visit. Delicious food, great service, and a welcoming pub feel — I can’t recommend The Hazelwell Pub highly enough!

Not good. £26 (includes delivery) for a mediocre meal, we got 2 small portions of fries and two burgers. The meal was meant to come with two drinks but they didn’t arrive. The burger buns were burnt and all I could taste was burn, the bacon on the beef burger was hard. When you bite into the burger it got soggy and dripped all down me. Not pleased at all….. My mom had fish chips n pease and was happy with the flavour but again not a lot of fries/chips..

I was very disappointed with our visit to The Hazelwell Pub. The food was very poor overall and our order even came out wrong. When it did arrive, it was bland and badly prepared — the chips were dry rather than crisp, and the steak was cooked incorrectly. The atmosphere was just as bad. Children were running around the restaurant and nearly hitting our table, which made it uncomfortable and far from relaxing. To make matters worse, the staff were rude and unhelpful when issues were raised. Unfortunately, this was not an enjoyable experience at all, and I wouldn’t recommend eating here based

UPDATED: We recently visited with a friend and the 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Like most, we are feeling the pinch, so when we got a meal for 3 for under £40 we were delighted. We took full advantage of the special offers, ordering: Starters - 5 for £15 🍗 Crispy chicken wings £4.49 🍗 Boneless southern fried chicken bites £4.29 🍟 Crispy coated halloumi fries £4.29 🔥 Hot Mess £3.49 🍄 Beer-battered salt & pepper mushrooms £3.29 Mains - 🌶️ Caribbean- style Jerk chicken skewers £9.79 x 2 🐟 Small scampi & chips £4.79 It was decent and for £15 we couldn’t complain about the star
