Easily the best pizza I’ve ever had in the UK. This is true authentic Neapolitan pizza. There is so much work that goes into the pizza and the ingredients are very high quality. You certainly get what you pay for. Can genuinely say I have been 4 times and I’ve never been disappointed even a little. I’m very excited that Mono pizza now has a permanent spot. An incredible pizza van and now restaurant. Looking forward to my next visit.

We have been going to Tim and his Mono van since he first opened up in town. He has also catered for a party for us too. It is amazing to see how he has gained such a following that he has now moved to this premisis which he has re-done in his brand colours and style. Mono Pizza is definitely the best around, nothing comes close. In the space previously occupied by Bar Gabardine, now stands the marvellous Monopizza. They previously had a pizza van in town in the Malls. In this pretty space, they have decorated beautifully and installed their proper pizza oven. We went on Wednesday evening and ordered a pizza each - Diavolo and Rebby. We were warned when the piping hot pizzas arrived that they would be messy. They were and it was absolutely worth it. Delicious deep rich flavour of tomatoes on the super fresh base. The best pizza in Basingstoke, and the best pizza I've had since I visited Italy! The vibe and decor are top notch and there are some great little things that made the visit feel extra special. Special mention for the bathroom, which was kitted with sanitary products, deodorant, air freshener and sanitizer.
