If you ever find yourself ordering their cakes and wondering why it's taking a while to be served, be patient for the chef is creating a masterpiece of a design on your plate (see photos). When our order came out, our jaws literally dropped and I couldn't help blurting out a huge 'WOW!" What a gem! I had something from the Specials board-a croque biquette, which was honey and thyme goats cheese with prosciutto on toast with a delicious side salad. My dining companion had the pancakes and bacon. All divine. The coffee was of very high quality, too, and the service was brilliant. Such a cosy, quirky atmosphere, with the nooks, trinkets and mirrored ceiling tiles.
