In May, we embarked on a journey to Belfast, arriving at 6:30 am after a scenic ferry ride from Liverpool. Our anticipation for a hearty breakfast was palpable. Through an online search, we stumbled upon Maggie Mays, but the restaurant’s location proved elusive. It had recently relocated to a different street, and the online information had not been updated. Undeterred, we persevered and finally found the restaurant. We indulged in the Irish Breakfast, a feast of two eggs, two bacon strips, sausage, a vegetable roll, black and white pudding, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, and two toasts. Initial

If you are in Belfast and you want to try some local food this is the place. I had to wait 10 minutes to get a table.. yes this place most of the times is packed. I had the Full Fry and it was really good. The coffee was good as well. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is super friendly. I went to Maggie Mays twice the second time I had a simple breakfast which was delicious as well. This place is a must in a Belfast trip !

We visited the city recently and was told to make sure we had an Irish breakfast before we left. We had seen this place walking around and decided to give it a try. Was really busy but that helped to show that it was a popular choice, staff were really friendly and food was brilliant! Well worth a visit!

The staff appeared rushed and stressed, with no smiles or polite greetings, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere. The music was excessively loud, making it difficult to hold a conversation. When the waitress came to our table, she immediately stated “cash only,” yet other customers were allowed to pay by card. I am being generous with the two-star rating, which I give out of respect for the people who
