Visited on a Friday night. I was disappointed with the atmosphere, we were one of a few tables inside, so the vibe felt quite stale considering it was a Friday evening. The service was great - couldn’t fault the staff they were wonderful. My main was the roast chicken - it was nice and well cooked, and each element individually was good, however when put together the whole dish was far too salty. Each element was well-seasoned, bordering over-seasoned but ok, however when put together it all became too salty. Unfortunate as the cooking was actually very good. I ate at Café Parisien last night and honestly it was one of the best vegetarian meals I’ve had in years. I’ve been vegetarian for 11 years and I very rarely leave a restaurant feeling fully satisfied with a vegetarian option, but the nut roast last night was absolutely beautiful.
