The Yardbird is a fabulous lunch spot. (It was one of our two favorite restaurants in Belfast.) We ordered NSFW beers, a half rack of ribs, an order of "loaded" (chicken and gravy) fries, and a Buffalo fried chicken sandwich. All were delicious! I also want to give a shout-out to our server, who was attentive and personable. I didn't catch his name, but when we told him how much we liked the restaurant's music playlist, he laughed and said he was the guy who made it. So... whoever that is, he deserves praise for his skills as a server and his taste in music.

If you’re in Belfast and craving great comfort food, look no further than The Dirty Onion & Yardbird. The chicken was absolutely delicious, the fries were spot on, the beer was cold, and the live music created the perfect atmosphere. Honestly, what more could you ask for? Great food, great drinks, great vibes.

For a quick and easy meal, this is a decent place to eat. My chicken could have done with more seasoning, and I didn’t like a certain aspect of the sauce in my burger, but that’s personal taste. Service was great and the atmosphere was really good for a Monday night, it was packed.

Had a decent meal at The Dirty Onion. It’s the kind of place that works well for a cheat day meal or something hearty and satisfying. I had the crispy chicken burger, which was good and thankfully came with fries. The fries themselves were decent too, and overall the portion size was generous and filling. Service was mostly fine, although we did have to wait quite a while after asking for the bill. We eventually went up to the counter to pay, where our server admitted she had forgotten about it.
