We were in Birmingham for a half days shopping and thought sushi would be a good idea for a light lunch. Reviews for Sushi Passion looked great and was only a short walk from where we were so gave it a try. It was almost empty which was a bit of a surprise with such good reviews but great to see Asian staff in the kitchen hopefully to provide an authentic meal. The menu was large and we appreciated all the photos to show what we were ordering. Food took quite some time to arrive considering there were only 2 other tables occupied. A colleague recommended I try Sushi Passion. Really good suggestion imo. Treated myself to lunch here during work after a stressful week and it was definitely a treat. A bit on the pricey side but par for the course in Birmingham. Loved the food. Service was good - polite and courteous staff. I had the special Uramaki - had to carry the rest home by the end of the meal, crispy hosomaki - they ran out of strawberries but it was lush even with mango, scallop Gunkan and the seared beef with shichimi pepper were good too. Miso soup was filled generously. Would recommend a visit.

I love this place so much. The staff are so lovely and accommodating. The place is quite small but it has so much charm and the tables and toilet was spotless. If you’re looking for a chill place to eat away then this is the spot to go to. The food and drinks were perfect!
