Visited Kohi Coffee House, Blackburn after a recommendation and it did not disappoint. As soon as we entered we were greeted with a smile. The aesthetic is very unique. Service was quick and the staff were very welcoming and polite. We had the rib eye pocket sandwich and strawberry matcha and Tokyo chicken pocket and coconut matcha. The food was amazing, full of flavour. I would highly recommend visiting Kohi Coffee House, Blackburn. I would definitely visit again when in the area. 💯

Positives: It was my first time visiting and I love a good matcha. This one absolutely delivered!! The strawberry white chocolate matcha was literal perfection. Even my husband, who doesn’t drink matcha at all, had a sip and said it was good. The sandwich was also amazing: great flavours and, surprisingly, it stayed warm for quite a while even though we got it as takeout. Negatives: The main floor is very, very small. Went to try this place out for brunch/lunch..was busy with all sorts of people..good signs when it's a mixed group of clientele visiting a place..so hopes were high. Waited around 15 twenty minutes for a table ..very nice service from staff. Food arrived and looked great..tasted great too. 10/10 for the toasties/pockets. We had the chicken and the ribeye ..wife loved the chicken I preferred the ribeye, worth trying both TBF. Coffee wasn't great but wasn't terrible either. Slight burnt taste, only slightly though. What can I say, I think I might be a tad bit obsessed with Kohi. I’m there like every week. Not only are all their drinks a 10/10, but all the pocket sandwiches are to die for. The design and aesthetic of the shop makes you feel like you’re in a big city and it’s honestly gorgeous. I’m from nyc and I’ve been waiting so long for a vibey coffee shop to open in Blackburn. I’m so glad Kohi did it first because they did it right. I love coming here to do my work and I come so often that I practically live here. The staff are so lovely, they make me feel really comfortable and excited to come back.
