Staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is great. The place itself is clean and the toilets were well kept, although the interior feels a bit dated. The younger staff were especially attentive, which was a positive. The menu looked good, but the fish and chips didn’t really live up to expectations for the price. The chips seemed like frozen ones, and the fish lacked flavour the batter was overly crispy and felt like it may have been refried. Also, the outdoor tables could definitely do with a proper clean.

Didn’t eat and just had a coffee but absolutely fantastic coffee with a beautiful sea view - what more do you want. Friendly service and chips looked excellent! A much better choice than lobster pot which is always crowded and food is over priced. Good loos at boat house cafe too!

Very nice panini bacon, Brie and cranberry sauce. The chips are so tasty and crispy outside and soft inside. Staff very friendly. Very quick to clean the tables.

Stopped here whilst working nearby for lunch, got the chicken and bacon panini and my pal had a tuna jacket potato. The food was of average quality considering the price, you’re definitely paying for the location. Great sea views all round with lovely staff. :) I would recommend this as a quick bite to eat place.
