We had planned to eat out but ended up working late so decided to have fish and chips and Andy's was the nearest with good reviews. The reviews are well deserved - we had haddock cooked to order, which had great batter, The chips were spot on too. We'll definitely go back next time we are in Boston.

Another evening dash for some last minute fish and chips. Andys has been here for 30years which already says a lot for the quality of their food and service. A very good selection of meal options. We both had cod and chips, one with mushy peas. Big portions, crispy batter and tasty fish. Nice chips, not too chunky and I prefer my chip shop chips to be a bit chunky. Mushy peas had a hint of mint (?) and complemented the fish nicely. I’ve been slowly trying all of Boston’s Fish & Chip offerings. Today I got around to trying Andy’s. A very ‘traditional’ place, friendly owner who seems to have been here for years and knows many locals personally. Fish is fresh cooked to order (even Haddock can be skinless). Decent, crisp batter and proper old school chunky chips - nice and soft. The Mushy Pea’s tasted nice but was very ‘artificially’ green and it sort of put me off.
