Really friendly service, arrived just before midday. Freshly fried cod and chips with the crispiest batter. Lots of seating and traditional atmosphere. Parking nearby and just off the main pedestrian shopping area of Boston. Would definitely recommend and will come again.

Tonight we decided to have fish and chips from Tate’s Fish Restaurant for supper. The batter peeled off the fish as we removed the wrapping. The chips were luke-warm and soggy. The battered sausage was overcooked and quite dry. The curry sauce was quite sweet, which was really odd against fish & chips! Unfortunately there was nothing on the plate that was enjoyable and really not worth the £26 The customer service when answering the phone left a lot to be desired as whoever took the call wandered off half way through to speak to someone else in the restaurant without saying anything to us ,

Warning ⚠️ Do not eat here! The food is absolutely vile! Put straight in the bin. The half a chicken smelt like chemicals and look decomposed. I wouldn't even feed it to the seagulls! However the lady seemed pleasant enough. The man was rude and all he cared about was making sure we paid the correct amount. It now going to cost me more money as have to buy more food else where. Would give it no stars if there were an option. Will be reporting them 👍
