Vicolo is a lovely authentic Italian restaurant - the food was excellent quality and freshly cooked. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. It was fairly quiet when we arrived, but the room was soon filled with more people and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit and we will be returning next time we are in town!

Called and booked restaurant 1 hour ahead of time requested, no problem. Restaurant ambience great, service was good, food was excellent, in fact the best Italian food I've eaten (and I've eaten a lot) and pretty good value for money. What's not to like! Absolutely fantastic, next time I'm back in Bournemouth this is my no 1 place to eat, magnifico!

The food here is absolutely delicious. Proper Neoplitan food, I had the vesuvio pasta with Neapolitan Ragu that was filled with chunks of beef and pork in a lovely, smooth tomato sauce topped with a very decent sized portion of meatballs. I had a side of garlic bread that was fluffy, chewy, doughy and covered with fresh garlic and herbs with a classic Neapolitan crust, perfect for mopping up any leftover ragu. I would 100% recommend this place if you like Italian food. I'll be back to try the pizza next!
