I got an iced latte and a cinnamon bun. Everything looked so good it was hard to pick. The latte was excellent. I normally need to add sugar, but not with this one. The barista was also very friendly and welcoming.

The loaf cake was a chunky slice, but felt like it was too stodgy and the cream was on the cheesier and thicker side, did not taste that great. Would recommend if they switched to a lighter cream frosting, it would taste nicer. The Nutella coffee did not come with the Oreo crumbs. It also didn’t taste like Nutella at all. The lotus one is a simpler case, when the spread melted it added a strange oil to the coffee. Did not taste that great. Seating looked limited. Next time I would try the basque cheesecakes and a regular coffee.

Cracking cafe to sit and enjoy some seriously tasty cakes and bakes! It’s not the biggest of cafes, but there’s a decent amount of seating and given the size, but you don’t feel cramped. The staff and owners are AMAZING, being so friendly and helpful, giving the best service. They warmed my savoury pastry in a heart beat and served it with a smile. The coffee wasn’t the best in Brighton, but it was still tasty, whereas the selection and variety of food and snacks is MASSIVE and definitely up there in the city. It’s great. Lovely little cafe, fabulous selection of food! We had the pistachio cheesecake, which was absolutely spot on - delicately sweet, deliciously creamy, and just right! Looking forward to coming back to try all of their other goodies, both sweet and savoury. Highly recommended!
