Although I didn't have a booking, they quickly placed a table at the top of the restaurant. The waiter was friendly. The food was regular, I expected better presentation and flavour. The steak dish had the potatoes reheated and the presentation was very simple, just like the chicken with mushroom sauce, the sauce was cloying, although it had many mushrooms it did not highlight the flavour of the mushrooms and I did not like the presentation, that dish deserves a better presentation with its garnishes. My bestie from Brighton suggested we try their set menu, and it was such a great choice! The place feels super cozy, everything was fresh, and the value/taste ratio was spot on. The wine was amazing; the waiter said it’s from the restaurant’s own selection, and we loved it so much we ordered a second bottle!🥂 The truffle mushroom risotto was so lovely and not too heavy, the pizza wasn’t my favourite, and the homemade tiramisu was okay. My top pick was definitely the lasagna; such a true homemade taste!🥳 Overall, a cute and cozy dinner spot that my girls and I absolutely loved 🥰
