Fantastic spot for a reasonably priced and filling meal! We ordered some pork dumplings with chilli garlic sauce to start - these were irresistable, I could not stop going in for more! I really appreciated the fact that they came with a decent portion of vegetables as a garnish - the flavours complimented the dumplings beautifully. Onto the star of SHAANXI’s menu - the noodles! What the heck is a Chinese burger when it's at home? I had no idea so had to pop along and for a very reasonable price bagged this little beauty. It's essentially a lovely soft roll packed full of flavourful pork, a little hint of spice and some veggies. A very satisfying lunch - I wish more places did this!

We booked a table in advance and were seated downstairs, which had a really nice atmosphere, easy to chat and relaxed. The food was absolutely out of this world. Every dish we ordered was stunning, but the standout favourite had to be the chef’s special, the beef short rib biangbiang noodles. The flavours were incredible and the noodles were perfectly cooked. Honestly, everything we tried was fantastic and full of flavour. You can really tell how much care goes into the cooking here. We’ll definitely be back and can’t wait to try more of the menu next time. Highly recommended!

The kind of place that as you walk past, you can’t help but notice them hand pulling the noodles. The noodles really are something special. Thick, chewy and a real pleasure. One of those that I can see myself thinking about for a long while to come. They’ve got a nice Szechuan heat that numbs the mouth and a rich oily sauce. You know you’re in for a treat when the waitresses come over with garden clippers to trim your noodles down to a manageable size. We had the pork and the special beef short rib. The pork had a richer and more flavourful sauce. The beef short rib was the better cut of meat
