What an amazing experience at the Arnolfini Café Bar. I had never been before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but everything exceeded my expectations. They accepted my birthday booking for 20 people without any issues and welcomed us warmly, even though the place was already busy when we arrived. They even closed the kitchen to everyone else so they could prepare our orders without delay — which was incredibly thoughtful. Oooph, hate to say it (it's always been one of my favourite places and I love W&T), but the 2026 makeover now makes it seem very pale and lacking personality. It's looks and feels like a sad Pret. The beer is obviously very good, and the food is better than it was. And of course it's always had great staff. But I really hope they can put back what was so nice about the BBF version: lots of natural wood; lots of art, lots of hanging things and posters for local art events etc. It had such a nice bohemian feel... alas, they swapped it for airport generic.

As I entered the Arnolfini Café Bar a young lady was dancing behind the counter, bustin' a move like I've never seen a café worker bustin' a move before. I filmed her but unfortunately she politely requested that it be deleted so you'll never know how groovy she was. The coffee could be described as okay, with a sort of okay swirly. Lots of decent munchables were available, of the hot and cold variety. Nice atmosphere, y'know, like arty, possibly bohemian, probably caught from the gallery adjoining. Interesting take on facilities 🚻. Unisex. Luckily not shared at the same period, one person at
