A really comforting lunch. The salmon tagliatelle was creamy without being too heavy, and the salmon portion was generous. The rocket & parmesan salad balanced everything nicely and kept the meal fresh. Portion size was great too — satisfying without feeling overwhelming. A lovely spot for a slow lunch in Bristol.

An excellent Italian restaurant that was a pleasant surprise. Lovely staff and unashamingly warm and homely. The Italian way, not fancy or prude, just delicious and homely. Fungi Alla Crema (3), not great for me, could have scorched the mushrooms more to give it a stronger maillard flavour. Calamari Fritti (5!) absolutely gorgeously fried and tasty calamari, not greasy at all! Tagliatelle Fruitti Di Mare (5!) delectable tomatoes base seafood. The seafood ingredients aren't much but it makes up in flavour. Mostly prawn forward tomatoes sauce.

I went with my partner for the second time and it’s such an amazing restaurant. The food is incredible, made fresh and there’s no long wait for it either. The staff are friendly. Parking can be tricky - I recommend parking at Trenchard Street which is cheap then walking 3 minutes to the restaurant. There is street parking by the restaurant but this is usually all taken. Highly recommend booking as it can get very busy there

We had a wonderful experience at Ciao — a lovely, authentic Italian restaurant. The highlight was definitely the pasta — the sauce was unlike anything we usually find in the UK, rich and full of genuine Italian flavour. It’s that taste that keeps drawing us back every time we’re craving proper Italian food. Highly recommended! Only downside is the parking!
