Last night I had a pleasure of going to the Ritzy cinema to watch Marty supreme. I've always wanted to watch something here, I've never had the opportunity so do until now. I have a few friends that live in Brixton and they wanted to watch something so this was music to my ears. Ritzy is a no frills cinema, just old school picture place which I loved. Which I didn't love was the cinema food prices. I think I paid £9.00 for large popcorn and drink. Popcorn seemed a bit small to me. I really enjoyed watching Marty supreme at the Ritzy. Best place in Brixton. It’s great to have an independent cinema offering a wide range of current and classic films, as well as special showings of cult movies. They have comfortable seating, clean facilities, and friendly staff which was lovely. Coffee is really nice and ginger cake amazing.

Love the building and the history. But as a cinema. I would choose another venue. Screens are smaller than before and a bit overpriced. The bar upstairs is lovely. And the front is amazing.

I went to the Q&A of Pillion the movie and I loved the film. The answers provided by the director and one of the 2 main characters ( Alex Skarsgard, the other actor was, sadly, ill) were insightful, honest, and full of the right sense of humour. This was a great evening!
