Reviewing Kenneth★★★★★Officially the warmest welcome in Burgess Hill. Hearty, traditional British food served in a relaxed, family friendly environment. Great value and service and a wide selection of options. Yes, they only take cash which is a minor inconvenience, but if we don't keep cash alive we will end up in a technocratic Orwellian nightmare, so it's a good thing really. Cheers Guys - don't ever change. 5 stars richly deserved.
MilPoPo★★★Quick Takeaways 🍳 Classic greasy spoon menu with all the expected breakfast options 😊 Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere 🍽️ Good portion sizes and food served hot and tasty ⏳ Very slow service (40–50 minute wait for food) 💷 Cash-only payment not clearly communicated ☕ Tea served unconventionally (milk + hot water added, teabag separate) ⭐ Decent café overall but misses out on 5 stars due to service speed and payment issues Full Review The Sunshine Café is very much an old-school greasy spoon, offering the classic menu and familiar feel you’d expect from a traditional British
Peter Earl★★★★★Lovely little cafe in burgess hill!! Definitely come again and would recommend!! More than Value for money! Had the breakfast and with coeliac I wasn’t able to have the sausages but they changed it for what I wanted! Yummy food! Potion sizes are very good!!
Tom Stevens★★★★★Hearty decent meals that really fill the plate and gigantic coffees,as least twice the size you'd get on the high street. Had a Spanish omelette with huge slices of back bacon.and everything comes with chips!
