Ordered 2 Sticky Belly Pork sides A soft shell crab roll each and a portion of mussels. Everything was perfect, cooked to perfection and delicious. I underestimated the generosity of the belly pork portion. The chunks were pretty big and 1 would have done. Have it a good crack though. The sauce with the mussels was brilliant and not just the usual garlic sauce. Would work well as a soup too. Softshell crab rolls were fantastic and even down to the soft milk bread made everything bang on. We’ll definitely be back.

Always enjoy going to Cutlery Works. Loads of choice and always great quality.. but when me and my wife called in for food on the 23rd of August this year. I was blown away by the food at Butcher and Catch. Seriously. You have to try it. I went for Dan’s Big Plate and was not disappointed, at all. It was sensational. Had to go and thank the guys at the counter - turns out Dan was in and cooked my meal. Some of the meat joints in Sheffield have been dropping in quality or plate size of late.. but this. I've eaten a couple of times at Butcher & Catch recently and will definitely be back. I've been once on a weekday night to get dinner with a mate and again to their beer tasting collab with Abbeydale brewery. Both times they were lovely, everything felt easy and the food was banging. It's like creole comfort food, so it definitely feels pretty unique in Sheffield. They're not limited to that though, I had some amazing Jerk beef and a few other things there too so it's a bit of a mix. I loved it.
