Came in for Sunday lunch with a friend, both celebrating our Birthdays. Was fortunate enough to be served by Emma who was exceptional. She guided us through the menu, helped us choose wine and was just wonderful. Felt like we were friends within minutes! Our Sunday lunches came out quickly, hot, decent portions and delicious. We ordered a desert and we received a complimentary ice cream, complete with Birthday candle. It was a really brilliant experience. The food was tasty, the service amazing. Fantastic restaurant and amazing staff! Thank you for making my partner’s birthday so memorable - we had reserved and got a great table that had the view of Kings College. We really appreciated the staff’s attentiveness to allergens, and providing us with the gluten free exclusive menu. The food was delicious - the crackling with apple sauce was incredible, we both had the rib-eye and the desserts were fantastic - we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Thank you!

What a delicious roast dinner! As we always can expect, the closest places to touristic zone are not always the best... turists traps! But this is a exceptional restaurant. I was not disappointed at all. The food was tasty and the price reasonable. No doubt, I'll be back when visiting Cambridge.

The experience was below expectations overall. Prices are quite high, and an additional service charge is added. We were also surprised to be charged for bottled water that was served in an unsealed bottle with their own branding. We ordered two steaks, one kids’ meal, and the cheapest bottle of red wine, and the total came to £135. While the food was acceptable, the overall value for money didn’t justify the cost.
