What can I say that hasn't been said about this great institution? I love hip hop and the jazz cafe always brings the talent. I've been here so many times, I know this place intimately. If your favourite artist is in town and they're performing in the jazz cafe. You simply have to come, it'll be a sin if you don't. Jazz cafe is nice and intimate. I attended the JC for a special event. Knowing the location and organisers, I had high expectations... and I was not disappointed, well not entirely. The event itself was great. High energy, great audience and entertaining. The drinks were made well and the staff kept the bathroom clean..but there was a smell. The odour as you entered was pungent. It came and went but mostly stayed.
