Delicious food! It’s a family favourite, whether it’s dim sum or dinner best believe you’ll come out full and satisfied. My favourite has to be the dim-sum though! Unlike other branches they are not frozen, instead made in house which you can just taste the quality and freshness of each dim sum. I must say one of the best dim-sum spots for London so no wonder why they’re so busy! The restaurant is very nice and has a great ambience at night, with riverside views. The staff are great and easy going. Totally recommend.

Mother’s Day 2026. “Let’s go to that Chinese place by the Thames”. My siblings and I agreed and arranged to get to Yi Ban for 6.30/7. Unfortunately, there was no mechanism to book online as they said they were “operating on a first come first serve basis for Mother’s Day.” This was acceptable, and the lovely view when we sat at our table made it worth it. It was only a short wait to be seated (30mins). The drinks came out quickly and so did the starters. The Vietnamese Lemonade was delightful, but brother had orange juice and said it wasn’t great. Quick & delicious lunch. Came during a busy weekend lunch, fast seating and service. They did miss my request for the chilli oil, so worth following up if wanting something as staff appeared a little hectic. Food wise, can’t complain all the dishes came out fresh and great in taste. We had the mango beef, special fried rice, dim sums: crystal dumpling, bbq pork steamed buns, scallop ho fun and ribs & chicken feet in black bean with rice. Overall the price was approx £30 pp, we were both full and content, would definitely come back. Great view and atmosphere, a beautiful sunny weather too!
