Samarkand took me in Bukhara though I never been there..The atmosphere and the ambiance is very culturally interesting and authentic.. This is a Family run place and halal food place,so before my post already people has posted sufficient information and suggestions regarding this place.. Food wise manti and ozbek pilav is great choice,it suits the London tastebud. I personally liked it along with the price.

I came upon this restaurant yesterday evening, and to my surprise I had one of the most interesting meals I’ve had in a long time. This was my first introduction to Uzbek cuisine, and I intend to visit again soon with my friends, thank you to our lovely waitress! The lamb soup which I can’t recall the name of was lovely.

I came here with my mum and we both loved it! We had previously gone to the Samarkand restaurant but saw that it was refurbished and a cafe was added. I loved the new decor; very vibrant and unique. I ordered an almond croissant, a chocolate and almond croissant and a spinach and feta pastry, which the staff member warmed up for us. They were so delicious, worth going back for, for sure. There were also fresh cake slices coming out of the kitchen so I’ll hopefully try them next time.
