Really good cafe. The coffee is made with care and tastes great too. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly you honestly could not ask for more. Disabled access is great too. This is well worth a visit it relaxing and calm atmosphere helps take the stress out if your day. Almost forgot great snacks a pastries also.

The disgusting state of the toilets, only marginally better than those in Coffee #1 Newport, put me off ever returning to this place. It's not enough to mop around everything occasionally, leaving stinky filth behind the bins and up the walls. There should always be soap available for customers to wash their hands. It's seriously wrong to tie up the emergency pull-cords that could mean the difference between life and death for a disabled person. Coffee # 1 serves good coffee, the staff are usually lovely, but the toilets and lack of choice for vegans seriously let the whole place down.

I came here to redeem my birthday cake and try the £1 matcha deal after 2pm this week. I chose the last vegan coffee‑caramel cake and it was so lush. I also went for oat milk and blueberry with my cold matcha (no ice) — really lovely too. It’s fantastic to see they offer four vegan sweet‑treat options and don’t charge extra for vegan milk alternatives. Big win. I really recommend this place — the food and drinks are great, the atmosphere is lovely, and they even have a loyalty programme on their app.
