Great spot for enjoying a beverage or two in the sun. Staff and customers are always lovely, and they have a good range of drinks (alcoholic, caffeinated or otherwise) to suit everyone in the group. It can get busy during peak hours but it's not usually too difficult to find a table if there's 2-4 of you.

Possibly my favourite café in the UK (and I've tried many). Laid back, arty, eclectic fun decor, and very queer-friendly 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ I live in Scotland but try to get down to Cardiff when I can, and having visited Scaredy Cats on two separate Cardiff trips now (and twice each per trip), and there's no place I'd rather be. Cafe and bar with a fantastic atmosphere and great selection of board games. A really nice place to chill with your friends.
