An authentic Syrian experience in heart of cardiff. Went on a Saturday night with no booking but plenty of room as it’s a spacious restaurant with numerous seats. That being said there were people and families eating there and enjoying themselves and more importantly the food. Despite being in Cardiff, thousands of miles away from Syria, it truly felt like I was in a Syrian establishment. The food was as good as the atmosphere, as each bite contained a flavour filled punch of seasoning, smokiness and juicy meat flavours. We came here because of great reviews. Their food is even better - and the service is also fantastic. We have eaten hummus all of the world - their hummus plus some of their house chili sauce is one of the best things we have ever eaten. Highly recommended - we look forward to trying the entire menu. A truly lovely experience at Shaam Nights. The food is authentic Syrian cuisine, full of flavor and clearly made with care and passion. What really stood out to me is that the chef is Egyptian, yet his cooking is world-class, and his manners and respect are exceptional. You genuinely feel welcomed and treated with kindness. Great food, comfortable atmosphere, friendly service, and very reasonable prices. Thank you from the heart definitely not my last visit.
