My #1 favourite coffee shop in Cardiff Central. I've been on a mission to find the perfect coffee shop for quick study sessions, jumping from shop to shop, and uncommon ground coffee roastery is my favourite by far. The location within the arcades is beautiful and perfect for that aesthetic Pinterest vibe, the inside is the perfect balance of cozy and low-light, and the staff are always welcoming and enjoyable to talk to. I've tried many drinks from the iced mocha to hot teas, lattes and my favourite cappuccino, which are all lovely and nicely priced. I love their pastries and cakes but yet

This cosy coffee shop is located inside the Royal Arcade, which makes the setting feel quite charming. There are indoor seats, a few outdoor tables, and extra seating on the first floor. I ordered the UG brunch, which was sourdough topped with avocado and pickled onion, along with a flat white. The sourdough had a nice texture and the toppings were fresh. The coffee had a rich aroma and went well with the brunch. The atmosphere here is warm and relaxing. Overall, the atmosphere stood out more than the food, but it’s still a pleasant place to stop for coffee.

Lovely little spot. Very friendly, professional service, delicious food. I just went in for a coffee with an hour to spare between buses and trains (it’s five minutes walk from either station), noticed the menu on one of the natural wooden tables - ordered a brunch special: avocado toast with a poached egg, and am very glad I did! An Excellent experience.

Visited midday on a Sunday with a friend. Fairly busy but still plenty of seats. Had a pot of tea and the blueberry pancakes with yogurt which was lovely. Staff were friendly and service was good. Would recommend.
