Absolutely shocking experience at KFC Carrickfergus on Friday 9th January 2026. The chicken was the greasiest I have ever had from any KFC. The hot wings were completely unacceptable — they were raw, not undercooked, but raw. I know the difference between raw chicken and marinated chicken, and these were jelly-like in consistency and pure pink inside. I was there with my family, including a 10-year-old child who didn’t even eat his dinner because of this. He’s a very fussy eater, but KFC is one of the few places he actually enjoys — and now, because of this experience, I need to find somewhe

I had a great dine-in experience at carrick KFC. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was served fresh, hot, and full of flavour. The staff were friendly, polite, and provided excellent customer service throughout my visit. My order arrived quickly, and everything was exactly as expected. I’m very satisfied with my experience and will definitely be dining here again. Highly recommended.

I orderd two box meals and 2 piece's of chicken. I got them in good time and drove home looking forward to eating it as id just come of a 12 hr shift. Once i opened the zinger burger it looked like it had been pulled out off a bin and it had no top part of the bun. The fries were overcooked and to be honest it was pretty bland. Its definatley the worst KFC ive ever had. I did try ringing but just kept saying line busy i doubt the phone even works.

Didn't start going to this place until the 3 grandchildren asked to go. My husband and I were surprised to see how clean and spacious it was. Ordered on the machine in side, very quick service. The chicken was absolutely fresh, warm and cooked to perfection. The chips are amazing. Don't know what they sprinkle on them but they are lovely. If passing through Carrickfergus on your way to Larne or costal route to Portrush, drop in. They have a drive through also. Staff are very friendly. Have been going ever since, with and without the grandchildren.
