Last week , I visited with a group of friends, and we had a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. I would like to give special thanks to the chef. Under new management and the guy is out of his depth. Went to watch the England Ghana World Cup game on hottest day of the year. Had booked a table and was allocated one inside, only for the manager to refuse to open any windows or doors to ventilate because he only had one bouncer (who I think was his mother) and he was worried about people sneaking in with their own drinks. It used to be a charming pub but is rapidly turning into a Little Britain sketch. This evening, I sat down to indulge in a Caesar Salad with my mate and down a couple pints at the neighbourhood pub. It was fantastic, made all the better by out bartender Peter, who was so hilariously onpoint with his banter and his engagement with not just me, but all the customers, that I may just come back for him. Sadly, he tells me he’s leaving soon and honestly, I don’t think the pub would be the same without him. Hope Peter finds another lovely pub to keep more customers entertained. Smoking area was good, nice leather seats.
