Nice bar by the main road. Good atmosphere and friendly service. Plenty of seating upstairs. There's only one unisex toilet which I guess could be problematic when it's busy. Northern brewery beers only on tap so choice is slim to none if you like lager and not ales. Not something I would pick for my continental taste buds. Quite pricey as well so can't give more than 4 stars.

Sasha makes the best cocktails. Wow!! Bar was full and she was solo but she still super calmly made a work of art and covered the rest of the bar with ease. She’s an absolute credit to the company. 11/10

We held our daughter’s first birthday party in the private room at Further North this weekend. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the service, the atmosphere and how helpful staff were on the day. Highly recommend as an events space, really good value and a lovely day!
