Typical old style village pub, full of locals. Did not have food but drinks were as you would expect. Definitely old style in decor and traditions. Would definitely lose it's charm if updated and modernised. Was great to have a pub where we'll behaved dogs are permitted. Friendly, chatty locals made you feel welcomed.

Moved nearby recently and been in there a few times now. Staff are polite and welcoming, dogs permitted which are a big plus for my other half. Tried their pork pie and it was delicious. Not a bad word to say about the place really

Old school pub with old school decor. Always busy. Friendly staff and great large or small pork pies served with brown sauce, they also have warm pork scratchings for sale. Most importantly they have the best pint of Guiness in Ecclesfield🖤🤍
