What a gorgeous place! Went for afternoon tea and was very impressed! The assortment of dishes were all delicious and it was great to have an afternoon tea where the sweet treats were not overloaded! Beautiful small dessert was just perfect. The masala chai was very good also, but combined with the authentic teapots and cups made the experience all the more special. We were served by Shaqil who was very attentive throughout and was happy to answer all our questions about the food. My husband had booked this place for my birthday as I like Afternoon tea but we wanted a different experience. I must say, we were not disappointed. The masala tea was THE BEST masala Cha I have had in the UK so far. I drank most of the tea when I hardly ever do so. We went for the vegetarian afternoon tea and all the dishes were equally delicious. The gentleman serving us was very warm and friendly and I would go there again in a heartbeat. Being Bengali, I think I will try more of their Bengali item from the ala carte menu.

Was told sternly that one of us COULD NOT HAVE THE EATING MENU and the other order individual dishes . Was fobbed off timing issues and busy Friday night no.way Jose . We said we didnt mind timing the waiter barked back WELL WE MIND . We never been so confused and asked waiter further questions . Yet very amusing ( yes if we didn't laugh about it we cry ) the timing were messed up at least 15 minutes I got

We had the Afternoon Tea at our first visit here and it was absolutely excellent. All the food was beautifully presented and delicious with several unexpected extras. It's really good value as well. Service was warm and unobtrusive - the staff are lovely. The restaurant is spotless. Highly recommended and we'll definitely go back.
