We booked Voujon through The Fork app after checking the reviews, which seemed promising. It was my mother’s birthday, so we chose it for the occasion. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, with soft background music creating a calm setting. One minor issue: the air conditioning was directed straight at our table, which made my mother uncomfortable. She had to switch seats as it was blowing directly onto her neck. First time diner here, and the first Indian meal I've had in a couple of years. This venue made it a very welcome return for me. Shah hosted very well, excellent gentlemanly service and attention to customer. Food was non-oily, lovely texture and very flavoursome. All fresh organic ingredients and spices. Atmosphere quiet and cosy. An all-round pleasant and well-spent experience. I will surely be returning, this is a Station Road gem worth getting to know. The food was ok. It was let down by having too much pepper or spice in our mushroom rice which it definitely shouldn’t have had. The waiter offered to change it but we’d already mixed it into our food before noticing. The one thing that is crazy is the price of a 750ml bottle of water (what happened to 1 litre bottles!),which was an astounding £5.95!! On entering the restaurant someone was painting the inside near the front door. Then later on dragged a dirty bucket of whatever through the restaurant.
