Went today for lunch with my partner. Fancied trying something new as they now have a new menu although my go to is usually the chicken Tikka flatbread. I see the Wednesday pie & drink all day menu and decided on the butter chicken and cheese pie (see pic) and it was actually really nice. Atmosphere was very chilled and service was very quick. Thanks again Woodman 😊

We visited The Woodman for Sunday lunch and overall had a really enjoyable experience. The food was very good, the roast was tasty and well cooked, and the live music created a brilliant atmosphere that made the afternoon even more enjoyable. The only disappointment was that we'd specifically chosen to visit because the menu advertised unlimited roasties, Yorkshire puddings and gravy. Unfortunately, we were told this wasn't available, but nobody mentioned this when we arrived or before we ordered. It would have been nice to have been informed upfront, especially as it's one of the main reason

Just an amazing piece of English history. Lovely beer, great food and great atmosphere. Very welcoming staff/land lady/lord. Had had a beautiful meal (scampi and shepherds pie) and lovely relaxed drink (thank you). Dog friendly? You could say! first time I’ve ever seen a dog menu! Lovely garden for the children to enjoy too. Been coming to this pub for 48 years, i think I might recommend it 😂 go, meet your friends, you’ll all have the best time. The summer is coming and they are all set up with tables and shades for the adult. Thanks everyone at the Woodman! See you again soon!
