Am sorry to say that last night’s takeaway from Chris’ will be our last. We’ve had several really disappointing F&Cs from there over the last 9months (approx); always giving the benefit of the doubt because this is the only takeout meal we eat. Chris’ used to serve fabulous quality fish but see the attached photo of the ‘cod’ I was given last night. It was disgusting. Even the chips were cold and flabby. And at £32.50 for two, it was a total waste of every single penny. Oh, don’t know if it’s just us, but they always insist on a cash payment…?

Ordered sausage batter and chips, fish cake and chips and a pie. No sausage in batter, tiny portion of chips, the fish cakes was bland and the pie was hard! Called them to complain and he tried saying i didn't order the sausage in batter then he finally relented and said sorry and I can get it free next time. Next time?! No way mate. Worse chippy in west london! Steer clear!!

Agree with others here. This establishment has gone down hill. Twice now, over a period of a few months, take away fish has been cold on arrival at home (6 min walk). The quality of the chips are variable, as is the batter on the fish. The fish itself however seems to be good quality at least and the cod is nice and flaky. It is such a shame to write this review , as this shop used to be great and I'd never had cold food before. I can only presume new staff and/or deliveries have had an effect of the shop quality. I should have ask for freshly cooked fish rather than the ones already availa

Ive been in here before and was expecting better but this time it was very disappointing. Firstly, the service was poor, along with the food quality. The fish, was very dry and not flakey, nor fresh. Probably the worst fish ive had in awhile. The chips were very similar but were the better of the two. Won't be returning.
