Calico Lounge, part of the Loungers chain, is located in Chorley town centre. I’ve visited here a fair few times now and had a variety of dishes, and I’m regularly impressed with the food quality and the friendly staff. My favourite dishes include the Gluten-Free Brunch and Louisiana Fried Chicken. Staff are happy to modify dishes to my liking, which I appreciate, especially with the brunch, and are knowledgeable about allergies, which is reassuring to go alongside the extensive gluten-free menu. The interior is comfortable, with the artwork on the walls giving off the usual Lounge vibes. I

We went there twice during our trip to Chorley - first time for brunch and later during the day for dinner. Both shakshuka and hallumi burger were well-seasoned and perfectly tasty. Visited Calico Lounge in Chorley for their tapas evening and had a really enjoyable experience. The offer was excellent value — three tapas dishes plus a drink for £13.50— and the food was genuinely delicious. Every dish we had was full of flavour and beautifully presented. The atmosphere inside was lovely too. It wasn’t overly crowded, the lighting was nice and subtle and it had a really relaxed, cosy feel that made the evening even more enjoyable.
