Good ambience, liked the theme of the restaurant, staff were knowledgeable, polite and efficient. Good range of food on the menu and it was all served really quickly without much of a wait between courses. The prices are not cheap, but quite frankly you get what you pay for. Everything tasted handmade and of good quality and the portions are generous. There was not much vegetarian food on the menu, but I expected that, "smokies" naturally infers BBQ and meats. I apprehensively chose the only non-meat main course which wasn't really that descriptive nor did it sound particularly appealing but

Absolutely loved it. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Definitely worth booking a table especially if you're going at the weekends. It's not an extensive menu, but there's so much meat. I would definitely recommend this place. Family friendly too and there's things on the menu for most. Plus the friendly staff are more than happy to ensure your order is cooked to your requirement

Food was really good. Service was a little bit slow but they were very busy. Booking essential. One thing that stopped them getting 5 stars was the craft ale they served was from the Orkney Islands. I couldn't understand this as there is some fantastic craft ale brewerys local. But all in all I would recommend this place.

Food was good, nachos were brilliant. We had the main sharing platter. Lots of items but didn't think they were all cooked the best. Half the brisket was really moist the other half was too dry, pulled pork was great, the smoke on the ribs wasn't that nice. Overall it was a decent meal just could have been better on the mains.
