Very disappointing experience at Eastern Delight. The food contained an excessive amount of red food colouring—our hands were stained after eating, which was very concerning. We informed the staff and returned the curry because we didn’t feel comfortable eating it, yet they still charged us half the price instead of apologising or resolving the issue. On top of that, the food is overpriced and definitely not worth the money. For an Indian restaurant, the food didn’t even taste like authentic Indian food. Was visiting and staying over in Cleethorpes at a holiday park for a few days. Ended up ordering from here twice and the food was absolutely amazing both times. Everyone I was staying with was also very impressed. Amazing curries, some of the best I have ever had and I've had a lot. Great flavours and quality. Our experience at ‘Eastern Delight’ was extremely disappointing. The curry contained an excessive amount of food colouring, to the point that our hands were stained after eating, which raised serious concerns about the quality of the food. We brought this to the staff’s attention and returned the other untouched butter chicken curry because we didn’t feel comfortable eating it due to concern on health issues. Instead of offering an apology or replacing the dish, they still charged us half the price. The lack of customer care, and overall experience left a very negative impression. Unfortunate
