One night stay here. Can not fault anything, our room was spotless and of high quality. The staff were friendly, pleasant, accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the lounge bar in the evening and it was of high standard, and plenty on your plate. We sat by the fire and it was cosy and so relaxing, the whole hotel is decorated to a high standard. Cocktails were delicious. We would highly recommend and we will definitely stay again.

Fab hotel, clean and comfortable surroundings. Bedroom rooms roomy with lovely decor, all beverages catered for. Ear plugs supplied due to age of building and windows old but not drafty, need to use them as can be noisy when staff arrive talking, which was only about 7am which is fine for early risers, but use ear plugs if you want a lie in. Plus for me as they have thought about it and tried to sort it out. Well done for that. Beds super comfy and breakfast amazing.. town not so good but if out and about brilliant.

Lovely quaint hotel nicely located disappointed when we came back and were told we could not go.outside with our drinks on a hot summers night due to a private wedding being hosted we should have been pre warned or some space put aside for paying overnight patrons to go outside not a good experience. Phoned down for a bottle of wine 40. But after 40 mins it had still not materialized my partner went down to the bar they had not even acknowledged our order said sorry we are very busy, obviously customers who are staying over come 2nd to those who are not part of the wedding.
