I choose to have a vanilla latte & a carrot cake at this Turkish restaurant cafe, and it was disappointing first of all the carrot cake didn’t taste line other carrot cakes that I had in the pass this cake wasn’t a carrot cake but taste it something else, the vanilla latte didn’t taste a vanilla at all, I drink just half of the vanilla latte. The carrot cake was very expensive £4,95 I paid almost £10 for the cake & coffee, I’m sorry but it was very expensive it didn’t taste a carrot or a vanilla at all, and for that I don’t recommend avoid. Café Italia Coventry absolutely deserves 5 stars. The pasta is amazing, fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. The staff are genuinely lovely and make you feel very welcome, which adds so much to the overall experience. The menu selection is AMAZING, with so many great options that there’s something for everyone, whether you’re after something classic or a bit different. I also highly, highly recommend trying one of their smoothies, they’re delicious and such a perfect addition to the meal. An all-round fantastic café that I’ll always recommend.

Second time in here. The big breakfast is fab! We all loved the hot drinks. A bit sad about the fish and chips. It was shop bought frozen ones. The lamb curry tasted good but only had 3 pcs of meat for £15 a bit of a let down. The calamari was from frozen. But it was okay. The pancakes was nice. The service is excellent. Very friendly staff. I would come back next time and have the Big breakfast instead. Lovely ambience. Lots of customers. Quick service. Clean toilets.

I have been to this place for many years! Many choices from menu! The prices are suitable! But the staff I been here couple times is not friendly enough anymore, she’s always rash when taking order, today we order veggie breakfast but when order comes here , we saw bacon on the plate ! She said she can change it but I did said is full breakfast! We’re vegetarian! Never order full English breakfast! How ? Staff need back to training for service if restaurant want to go further I’m afraid
